Affordable PartsWorld 1999 Ltd (Affordable PartsWorld) provides a standard warranty for all general parts and specific warranties for engines, transmissions, turbos and panel parts. Please see below for further details and the conditions to validate your warranty.
It is important for the customer to contact Affordable Partsworld with their proof of purchase as soon as they become aware of a problem. You must provide Affordable Partsworld with an opportunity to remedy the issue.

Warranty Overview
What’s Covered
Parts are covered for product failure due to defective material. We guarantee to replace, repair or refund the purchase price of the part if a part is found to be faulty. We reserve the right to inspect any product prior to refund or replacement under warranty. For more details please refer to our Terms and Conditions section 3 “Refusing/Cancelling Orders”.
What’s Not Covered
Affordable Partsworld will not provide a warranty for:
- Parts accessories sent with the part for convenience of installation (not invoiced)
- Parts applied to the wrong make, model or year of vehicle
- Damage caused by incorrect or poor fitting procedures
- Vehicles modified from Manufacturers specifications
- Parts that have not met the warranty conditions
Liability of Affordable Partsworld shall be limited to the terms of this warranty and any expressed or implied condition, statement, representation or warranty statutory or otherwise is hereby excluded.
The obligations of Affordable Partsworld are limited to making a replacement, repairing, adjusting or refunding of the defective unit and no liability is accepted for consequential loss, damage or injury.
Warranty Limitations
The customer hereby acknowledges that due to the nature of used auto parts, any liability of Affordable PartsWorld from all causes shall be limited to the price paid for the goods sold or provided. If a part sold by Affordable PartsWorld under warranty, fails to operate, liability shall be limited to the replacement of the part or a remedy not to exceed the price paid for the part unless an extended warranty is purchased. Limitations include but are not limited to:
- The vehicle is converted from a private passenger use to commercial or fleet use or is used for racing or other competition or off-road recreational purposes.
- Failure is caused by abuse, misuse, or modifications.
- Failure is caused by using the part for any use other than what was intended or recommended by the manufacturer.
- The part fails or becomes defective due to the vehicle being involved in a collision.
- The installed heat tab centre is melted or removed.
- The part is sold “as is” as indicated on the front of invoice or in a web sites terms.
Returns
If you wish to return your item and it is not faulty, we will meet our obligations under the Consumers Guarantee Act if that applies (see our Terms and Conditions Section 11). For more information regarding returns please refer to our Terms and Conditions Section 3, Conditions of Return.
Warranty – Specific Categories
This section will provide you with more specific warranty information regarding our standard, extended, engine, gearbox/transmission, turbo and panel warranties.
1. Standard Warranty
All Parts are supplied with a 3 month invoiced parts replacement warranty. This means the item that is showing on your invoice will have an automatic 3 month parts replacement warranty. This warranty applies to parts that are found to be faulty.
To Validate your warranty:
- Provide proof of purchase.
- The parts must be installed by a qualified technician, we may request proof of this.
- Ensure fluids have been replaced as per the manufacturer’s specifications. If failure of an item is due to a lack of fluids this may make your warranty claim invalid.
This warranty only covers replacement of the parts invoiced, it excludes the cost of labour, accessories supplied for convenience and other expenses related to the installation of the item purchased.
2. Extended Warranties
Extended warranties can be purchased on request at an addition cost, please “contact us” to enquire about the cost of an extended warranty as this can vary by part type.
Silver Plus 3 months Parts and Labour
Gold 6 Months Parts Only
Gold Plus 6 months Parts and Labour
Platinum 12 months Parts Only
Platinum Plus 12 months Parts and Labour
Diamond 24 months Parts and Labour
To validate these warranties the following conditions, apply:
- Provide proof of purchase showing the warranty purchased.
- Parts must be installed by a qualified technician; we may request proof of this.
- Ensure fluids have been replaced as per the manufacturer’s specifications. If failure of an item is due to a lack of fluids this may make your warranty claim invalid.
- Only invoiced parts are covered by all warranties, items supplied for convenience are not included.
- All Platinum and Diamond warranties must show proof of service every 6 months or 10,000 km.
3. Engine Warranty
The warranty specifications for engines are additional to the standard warranty and extended warranties. These requirements are specific to validating an engine warranty, over and above the standard and/or extended warranties.
Any claims under this warranty must be reported to Affordable Partsworld before taking any action. Any expenditure incurred without approval of Affordable Partsworld will not be recognised.
All engines are sold as a long blocks and auxiliary parts (if they remain attached to the engine) are not covered by this warranty.
The following must be carried out as part of the engine installation to validate your warranty:
- New oil (manufacturers specified oil), oil filter & inhibitor, thermostat, cambelt, seals, tensioners, idlers, spark plugs, frost plugs (if necessary) and water pump must be fitted.
- Heater core, heater hoses and radiator must be serviced by a radiator specialist.
- Air flow meter must be checked.
We recommend that, whenever possible, bolt-ons and manifolds from the customers’ existing engines be used and both front and rear oil seals be replaced. The warranty stated covers the long motor i.e. the block, head and internals only.
Exclusion from the Engine Warranty:
- Clutch assembly including pressure plate.
- Turbo unit manifolds, exhaust and inlet including carburetor and air cleaner unit.
- Injector, injector pump and injection unit.
- Distributor, Starter, Alternator, electronic ignition, carburetor (components relating to tune).
- Water Pump Assembly, water hoses.
- Belts, i.e Cambelt or Water Pump and Alternator Driving Belt (wearing parts subject to periodic replacement)
- Engines running on CNG or LPG, warranty is limited to 3 months or 5,000kms, whichever comes first.
- Oil Leaks, except major, i.e front & rear mains seals.
- Blown heater hoses or Radiator hose, Radiator (blocked or leaking radiator or badly corroded).
- Fuel Pump
- Timing Chain Noise
- Engine mount and plastic covers.
3. Gearbox/Transmission Warranty
The warranty specifications for gearboxes and transmissions are additional to the standard warranty and extended warranties. These requirements are specific to validating an gearbox/transmission warranty, over and above the standard and/or extended warranties.
Any claims under this warranty must be reported to Affordable Partsworld before taking any action. Any expenditure incurred without approval of Affordable Partsworld will not be recognised.
The following must be carried out as part of the gearbox/transmission installation to validate your warranty:
- Manufacturers specified oil to be used.
- All oil seals are to be replaced
- Torque convertor seal to be replaced and convertor flushed.
- Pressure test and fluid flow tests to be carried out.
- New external transmission cooler to be fitted
Exclusion from the gearbox/transmission Warranty:
- Oil leaks are not covered.
4. Turbo Warranty
The warranty specifications for turbos are additional to the standard warranty and extended warranties. These requirements are specific to validating a turbo warranty, over and above the standard and/or extended warranties.
Any claims under this warranty must be reported to Affordable Partsworld before taking any action. Any expenditure incurred without approval of Affordable Partsworld will not be recognised.
The following must be carried out as part of the turbo installation to validate your warranty:
- Inline Screen filter must be replaced.
- Check the banjo bolts and lines to ensure they are clear of blockages.
- Check flow of oil and bleed the turbo on start up.
- Build Oil Pressure before start up, DO NOT rev the engine.
- Check boost pressure under load.
- Manufacturers recommended Oil and Oil filter to be replace.
- Turbo must be fitted by workshop or turbo specialist.
Exclusion from the Turbo Warranty:
- Turbos fitted privately are not covered
- Turbos that have not had all the validation processes followed e.g. oil flow tested, will not be covered.
5. Panel Warranty
The warranty specifications for panel parts are additional to the standard warranty and extended warranties.
Any claims under this warranty must be reported to Affordable Partsworld before taking any action. Any expenditure incurred without approval of Affordable Partsworld will not be recognised.
Panel Parts are supplied with a life time warranty against manufacturers defect.
Exclusion from the Panel Warranty:
- Parts damaged by a collision
- Panel cuts are non-refundable as they are made to order
